Distribution Center Lead Pay Rate:

$26-$28/hour

Groveport, Ohio Kelly Services is seeking an experienced Distribution Center Lead to support a rapidly growing distribution operation in Groveport, Ohio. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys developing teams, drives performance, and ensures operational excellence.

1st

Shift:

6:00 AM - 2:30 PM (plus mandatory overtime) 2nd

Shift:

2:30 PM - 11:00 PM Mandatory overtime and weekend hours may be required based on business needs. Candidates must be flexible and accommodating to changing schedules.

Position Summary:

The Distribution Center Lead is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations while providing leadership and direction to a team of associates. This role drives productivity, maintains quality standards, promotes a safe work environment, and acts as a key liaison between employees and management. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with exceptional communication skills and a proven ability to motivate teams and deliver results.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead daily warehouse operations, ensuring productivity, quality, and customer service goals are met Provide coaching, guidance, and support to warehouse associates Monitor workflow, staffing levels, and production metrics Promote and enforce safety policies and procedures Train and onboard new employees Communicate shift priorities, expectations, and operational updates Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency Assist with inventory control and accuracy initiatives Partner with management to address attendance, performance, and employee relations concerns Foster a positive, accountable, and collaborative team environment

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution center, logistics, or manufacturing environment Prior experience as a Lead, Team Lead, Shift Lead, or Supervisor is preferred Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Proven ability to motivate employees and hold teams accountable Experience with warehouse management systems or inventory systems is a plus (SAP experience preferred) Comfortable in a fast-paced setting and spending significant time on the warehouse floor Ability to lift, move, and perform physical duties as needed
