00 per hour Full-time, year-round Hourly, overtime eligible Can you run a skid steer like it's second nature? Do you notice a messy yard before anyone else does, and clean it up without being asked? Do you take pride in a truck loaded right, a machine that runs because you took care of it, and a customer who drives away happy? Then we want to talk to you. Our Yard Supervisor owns the yard. It's where our customers pick up their materials and where our install and maintenance crews start their day, so it has to be clean, safe, organized, and running on time. You'll be the one making that happen, and the one who stands behind it. What You'll Do Take Care of Customers and Crews

• Greet customers in the yard, verify their purchases, and load their vehicles safely and carefully, every time
• Answer customer questions with a friendly, professional attitude
• Work with our installation and maintenance crews to load their trucks with the right materials so they get to job sites on time
• Keep things moving smoothly and courteously, even on the busiest spring Saturdays Run and Maintain the Equipment
• Operate a skid steer loader, mini excavator, and backhoe loader to move material and load vehicles
• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs so every machine is ready when it's needed
• Spot problems early, and fix them or report them before they turn into downtime
• Perform snow removal services during the winter months Own the Yard
• Keep the yard and warehouse clean, organized, and safe every day, not just when someone's watching
• Follow our safety policies and all local, state, and federal regulations
• Receive incoming vendor shipments and check them for accuracy and damage
• Complete inventory inspections, keep accurate records on a computer or tablet, and recommend restocking before we run out What We're Looking For
• At least 2 years of experience operating heavy equipment, including skid steer loaders, mini excavators, and backhoe loaders
• Hands-on skill with basic and technical equipment repair and maintenance
• A customer-first attitude. You communicate professionally and treat every customer and coworker with respect
• Real accountability. You do what you say you'll do, own your mistakes, and make them right
• A clean, organized way of working. A neat yard is a point of pride for you
• Self-motivated and dependable, able to work independently for long stretches in all weather
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet for record keeping
• A valid driver's license and the ability to pass our insurance eligibility background check
• Knowledge of landscape products and materials is a plus, but not required
• Able to lift and move up to 50 lbs frequently and heavier items occasionally, and to stand, walk, bend, kneel, squat, and reach throughout the day
• Able to climb ladders and stairs, work safely on uneven or sloped ground, and hear instructions, warnings, and equipment alarms Schedule
• Full-time, year-round position
• Monday-Friday during off-season; 40 hours flexible scheduling options like 4, 10 hour days during green season.

Plan on spending about 20% to 40% of your time in heavy equipment moving material or loading customers, and about 10% to 20% in our warehouse. You'll report to our Retail Manager.
