The Warehouse Coordinator assists with the organization of warehouse inventory. This includes ensuring that raw materials are received properly and are on hand to achieve production goals and that finished goods are shipped out in a timely manner. What we're looking for: High School diploma or GED required; A minimum of 2 years of experience in a warehousing/manufacturing environment; Solid computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook and warehouse software such as WMS/ERP system); Excellent attendance, communication, planning, and organizational skills; Ability to solve inventory count problems as well as solid problem-solving abilities needed; Must be able to maintain professional relationships with all team members, and vendors/customers.
Your day-to-day:
Prepare all paperwork for shipments including bills of lading, assign seal numbers, pick lists, manifests, and pre-shipment verifications, program recorders, open and close shipments in WMS; Oversee the shipments in WMS and ensure all paperwork is correct before releasing the truck; Match and verify finished goods inventory, and research any discrepancies; Schedule deliveries and shipments. Communicate with transportation when scheduled appointments are not met or if there are issues with the carrier; Coordinate shipping procedures to assure trucks are loaded in a timely manner; Verify all requisitions and ordering points with purchasing and vendors. Assist in keeping track of inventory, shipments, damaged product, transfers and finished goods on weekly and daily inventory reports; Monitor inventory in WMS. Make adjustments when needed including QA review of released product, recall support and processing returns, if necessary, remove damaged DTS product, credit/edit barcodes as required, audit, reconcile, and cycle counts, scanner equipment training, and troubleshooting; Maintain and file all warehouse paperwork, general office duties (such as ordering supplies), and assist the Warehouse Manager with administrative duties in their absence.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to lift, push or pull up to 20 lbs. on occasion; with occasional stooping, climbing, bending and twisting; Must be able to sit for long periods of time and will be required to walk through the plant at various times throughout the day; Must be able to work in hot and cold temperatures, and wear required protective equipment.
