Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Distribution Foreman to lead and oversee high-voltage electrical power distribution projects within the energy and utilities sector. In this vital role, you will coordinate field operations, supervise skilled crews, and ensure the safe and efficient installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems. Your expertise in electrical diagnostics, high-voltage wiring, and construction site management will drive project success while maintaining strict adherence to safety procedures. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead complex power line construction projects and contribute to reliable utility services. Duties
- Lead assigned crew members in the safe and efficient execution of daily work activities
- Conduct job briefings and ensure all crew members understand work plans, hazards, and safety requirements
- Ensure work is performed in accordance with company standards, specifications, and customer requirements
- Monitor crew productivity, work quality, and adherence to schedules
- Ensure daily time reporting, production documentation, and job records are completed accurately and on time
- Maintain safe work zones, equipment operation, and job site housekeeping
- Identify field issues and communicate needs, risks, and solutions to the General Foreman
- Ensure proper use, care, and inspection of tools, equipment, and vehicles Financial and Operational Accountability
- Support achievement of daily production and performance targets
- Promote efficient use of labor, equipment, and materials
- Monitor crew productivity and work output
- Ensure accurate reporting of completed work and quantities
- Assist in identifying operational risks and opportunities for improvement Compliance and Risk Management
- Promote and enforce a safety-first culture at the crew level
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, and customer safety requirements
- Conduct job site safety checks and hazard assessments
- Participate in incident reporting and corrective action implementation
- Ensure proper documentation and adherence to company procedures Leadership Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day direction and leadership to crew members
- Set clear expectations for safety, productivity, and work quality
- Maintain discipline, accountability, and professionalism within the crew
- Support training and development of crew members
- Promote teamwork, communication, and safe work practices Performance Expectations
- Maintain safe operations and prevent injuries and incidents
- Achieve targeted productivity and work quality standards
- Deliver work on schedule and in accordance with plans
- Maintain reliable communication with leadership and crew members

Pay:
