CORE DUTIES

Oversee utility material inventory by performing regular cycle counts, organizing stock, and managing staging areas. Utilize heavy-duty JLG machinery to maneuver utility supplies weighing as much as 12,000 pounds. Maintain outdoor inventory areas by sorting materials, reporting any damage, and performing routine counts to ensure accuracy. Handle the loading and unloading of freight from trailers and transport vehicles. Operate company trucks to move supplies between local facilities without the need for overnight stays. Collaborate effectively with internal team members and external vendors to achieve project goals. Act as a designated yard spotter to help maintain a safe working environment for the entire team.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Possession of a High School Diploma or equivalent certification. Current, valid state-issued driver's license. Strong verbal communication skills to assist in spotting duties and executing daily assignments. Proven background in warehouse operations and inventory management. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, Outlook, and Word. Demonstrated experience operating heavy machinery in outdoor construction or storage yard environments. Prior operation of specialized equipment such as telehandlers, all-terrain forklifts, and cranes is highly desirable. Maintain a professional demeanor by being punctual, safety-conscious, motivated, and a collaborative team member.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Ability to perform repetitive lifting and transport of items weighing up to 70 lbs. Requirement to stand, bend, and lift consistently during your shift. Capability to perform tasks in both indoor and outdoor settings across various climates. Willingness to work in diverse weather conditions, including high heat or inclement weather. Ability to safely maneuver long or irregularly shaped items using heavy equipment to ensure efficient site operations.
