Job Description
The Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for coordinating daily warehouse operations and supporting the performance and productivity of warehouse technicians. This role ensures warehouse processes are executed efficiently while maintaining high standards for inventory accuracy, safety, quality, and food safety compliance. The Warehouse Coordinator serves as a key operational resource on the warehouse floor-providing guidance to technicians, coordinating workflow, supporting problem resolution, and ensuring daily priorities are completed on schedule. This position works closely with warehouse leadership, production, and quality teams to ensure smooth and accurate warehouse operations. This role operates with a servant leadership mindset-supporting team success, removing operational barriers, and fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Warehouse Operations Coordination Coordinate daily warehouse activities to ensure materials are received, staged, and delivered accurately and on time. Monitor workflow and help prioritize tasks to meet operational schedules. Support warehouse technicians by providing direction, clarification, and problem resolution. Maintain accurate inventory records, warehouse documentation, and reporting. Monitor warehouse performance indicators including inventory accuracy, product damage, and operational efficiency. Assist in resolving operational issues and communicate needs to warehouse leadership. Ensure proper material handling, staging, and storage procedures are followed. Team Support & Leadership Serve as a day-to-day resource for warehouse technicians. Provide guidance, coaching, and support to team members during daily operations. Assist in facilitating daily shift huddles focused on safety, priorities, and performance expectations. Promote teamwork, accountability, and engagement within the warehouse team. Escalate operational or personnel concerns to warehouse leadership when needed. Quality & Food Safety Ensure compliance with GMPs, FSMA, SQF, and company food safety standards . Monitor warehouse activities to maintain product quality and food safety requirements. Partner with Quality Assurance to address deviations and support corrective actions. Support allergen control, sanitation procedures, and required documentation. Safety Promote a strong safety culture within the warehouse environment. Observe and address unsafe conditions or behaviors. Ensure team members follow safety procedures and use required PPE. Support safety training and reporting of incidents. Continuous Improvement Identify opportunities to improve warehouse processes, accuracy, and efficiency. Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action initiatives. Support lean manufacturing and operational improvement initiatives. Qualifications Required 3+ years of experience in warehouse or food manufacturing environments. Experience coordinating or leading day-to-day operational work in a warehouse or production environment. Strong understanding of GMP and food safety standards . Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Experience in frozen or cold-storage warehouse environments. Experience with inventory management and material handling processes. Forklift certification or familiarity with powered industrial equipment. Experience supporting continuous improvement or lean initiatives. Bilingual skills (depending on workforce needs). Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to work in cold warehouse environments. Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and overtime as needed. Work Environment This role operates within a food manufacturing and warehouse environment with exposure to cold temperatures, moving mechanical equipment, and production noise. Required personal protective equipment (PPE) must be worn in designated areas. Coverage This position is supported by and receives operational direction from the Warehouse Supervisor .
