Position Summary The Shipping & Receiving Supervisor/Lead will oversee and participate in daily shipping, receiving, inventory, and warehouse operations. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for ensuring accurate receipt, storage, inventory control, and shipment of materials. Key Responsibilities Leadership Lead, supervise, and train shipping and receiving personnel. Assign daily work schedules, balance workloads, and monitor team performance. Receiving & Inventory Operations Receive, inspect, and verify inbound materials against purchase orders and packing slips. Process ERP transactions including receipts, transfers, inventory adjustments, and material movements. Coordinate material put-away activities and maintain organized warehouse storage locations. Support cycle counts and inventory audits, investigate discrepancies, and maintain inventory accuracy. Support warehouse organization, storage utilization, and material flow efficiency. Shipping Operations Oversee daily shipping activities to ensure timely, accurate, and cost-effective deliveries. Warehouse Coordination & Safety Coordinate dock utilization, warehouse activities, and labor resources. Partner with Production department to ensure efficient workflow. Operate and oversee the safe use of forklifts, pallet jacks, and material handling equipment. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment. Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and shipping regulations. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required. 3-5 years of experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse operations, inventory control, or material handling. Previous supervisory or team lead experience required. ERP experience required; Epicor preferred. Forklift experience required. Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and warehouse software systems. Valid driver's license required. Bilingual Spanish is a plus. Physical Requirements Ability to lift 50 pounds. Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, kneel, crouch, and perform physical warehouse duties throughout the shift. Ability to work in a manufacturing and warehouse environment with varying temperatures. Ability to wear required PPE.
