Job DescriptionThe Shipping and Storing Supervisor supervises hourly personnel in storing and shipping. They are responsible for overseeing the handling, storing, and loading of ware and intra-plant transport.
Key Responsibilities:
Management Supervising shipping personnelPlan department work schedules and direct assignmentsReview and approve department time sheetsOversee warehouse, docks, and equipment to ensure properly maintained and to report necessary issues or repairs neededRecord keepingInventory Control Spot bay locations for finish good shipmentsPhysical counts, reconciliations, and adjustment entriesMonitor and order material related to corrugate, returnable packaging, load build, and consumablesAssist in audits and traceabilitySafety Follow all company, plant, and departmental safety procedures and policiesInstruct, coach, and enforce all safety rulesFully support and direct all food safety programs and initiatives, as O-I employees are responsible for food safetyQualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED requiredStrong math skillsExperience in warehouse and inventory management a plusPrefer supervisory experienceSAP experience would be a benefitProficient in MS Office (excel, word, outlook, and PowerPoint)Previous experience working in a union environment is helpfulTeam player but also able to work independentlyMust be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis Additional InformationWhat we offer at

Salary Range:
The expected salary range for this position is between $75,000 - $85,000 and includes a possible 12% quarterly incentive bonus. Actual pay will be adjusted based upon candidate experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
