LaFace and McGovern, Inc. was established in 1977 and is considered the leader in the lighting and controls market in both Western Pennsylvania and West Virginia. L&M has been dedicated to serving the customer base within the lighting community for more than 49 years with offices in Canonsburg, PA; Altoona, PA; and Huntington, WV. We are currently looking for someone to work in our warehouse in a part-time position, Monday through Friday. The hours will generally be 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM, although this schedule may change. The ideal candidate must be able to: Lift up to 50 lbs.

Shipping and Receiving:

Pack and ship lighting samples, receive deliveries, and check items for damage and missing pieces.

Sample inventory:

Maintain accurate records of samples, including what is available, checked out or awaiting return by using the Snipeit program.

Warehouse organization:

Keep lighting fixtures, samples and supplies organized, labeled and easy to locate.

Sample returns:

Coordinate the return of borrowed samples and shipments back to manufacturers.

Supplies and housekeeping:

Monitor packing supplies, order as needed, keep the warehouse clean, safe and free of clutter.

Use of a computer:

Answer emails, work inside the inventory system, learn the FedEx/UPS shipping programs. Salary is commensurate with experience. Robust compensation package includes health and dental insurance, short-term disability, life insurance, 401(k) and profit sharing, paid vacation and holidays.
