Shipping Supervisor Must know SAP! We are seeking an experienced Shipping Supervisor to lead a critical department within a stable, well-established manufacturing operation. This is a high-impact leadership role reporting directly to the Plant Manager, with responsibility for ensuring efficient, customer-focused outbound logistics and delivery execution. This position is best suited for a hands-on leader who understands how to manage shipping operations in a dynamic production environment and can effectively prioritize, plan, and execute daily shipments.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and supervise a team of 4-5 shipping personnel in a fast-paced manufacturing setting Plan and coordinate outbound shipments to maximize load efficiency and meet delivery commitments Analyze incoming orders and prioritize based on customer needs and business urgency Build optimized truckloads by aligning product mix, weight, and delivery routes Coordinate multi-stop deliveries with geographic efficiency in mind Collaborate closely with production, customer service, and plant leadership Maintain a strong focus on service, accuracy, and on-time delivery performance

What We're Looking For:

Proven experience leading a shipping or logistics department in a manufacturing environment Strong working knowledge of shipping operations, load planning, and routing strategies Experience working with ERP systems (SAP or similar preferred) Hands-on, detail-oriented leadership style with a customer-first mindset Ability to think strategically while staying engaged in day-to-day operations Demonstrated success in improving shipping efficiency and execution

Work Environment & Schedule:

Standard hours are Monday-Friday, typically 8:00 AM - 4:00

PM Compensation & Benefits:

Base salary: $75,000 - $85,000 (up to $90,000 for highly qualified candidates) Bonus potential: ~6% annually (combination of 401(k) contribution and performance bonus; consistently paid out) Full medical and dental benefits starting after 30 days Additional 401(k) match Relocation assistance available on a case-by-case basis (approximately $5,000 for regional candidates) H2
