Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Warehouse Team Lead to lead our warehouse operations and ensure the efficient management of inventory, distribution, and logistics processes. This role is vital in maintaining optimal warehouse performance, safety compliance, and team productivity. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive warehouse experience, and a comprehensive understanding of warehouse management systems and materials handling procedures. As a Warehouse Team Lead, you will play a key role in driving process improvements, overseeing shipping and receiving activities, and ensuring adherence to safety standards such as OSHA regulations. Responsibilities Supervise daily warehouse activities including inventory management, shipping, receiving, and order fulfillment to ensure timely and accurate operations. Lead and manage warehouse staff, providing training, guidance, and performance evaluations to foster a productive team environment. Oversee inventory control processes using warehouse management systems (WMS) and AS400 platforms to maintain accurate stock levels. Coordinate logistics for inbound and outbound shipments, including 3PL (Third-Party Logistics) providers, ensuring compliance with shipping regulations. Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency in materials handling, heavy lifting procedures, and overall warehouse workflows. Ensure safety compliance by enforcing OSHA standards and best practices across all warehouse activities. Manage forklift operations and mechanical equipment to facilitate safe movement of goods within the facility. Monitor inventory levels regularly to prevent stock discrepancies and support accurate reporting. Collaborate with procurement, distribution, and customer service teams to optimize warehouse distribution strategies. Maintain detailed records of shipments, inventory adjustments, and safety inspections for audit readiness. Experience Proven experience as a Warehouse Leadership or in a similar warehouse management role with demonstrated leadership capabilities. Extensive knowledge of inventory management techniques, logistics operations, and warehouse distribution processes. Hands-on experience operating forklifts and mechanical handling equipment safely. Familiarity with warehouse management systems such as AS400 or equivalent platforms. Strong understanding of OSHA regulations related to warehousing and materials handling. Prior experience working within e-commerce or 3PL environments is highly desirable. Mechanical knowledge related to materials handling equipment is an advantage. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently. Effective team management skills with a focus on training, motivation, and performance development.
Pay:
$48,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
