Leadership Full Job Description Position Summary:
The Volunteer Supervisor plays a key role in supporting day-to-day volunteer operations and ensuring a welcoming, organized, and mission-aligned experience for all who serve. This position provides on-site leadership during volunteer shifts, helping volunteers understand their roles, stay engaged, and work efficiently to support The Blessing Board's programs. Working closely with the Program Manager and warehouse staff, the Volunteer Supervisor helps expand volunteer presence and consistency at the North Warehouse while upholding a culture of dignity, teamwork, and hospitality. Reports to the Program Manager.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for volunteers during scheduled shifts at the North Warehouse Welcome volunteers, provide brief orientation and task instructions, and ensure volunteers feel supported and valued Assign and oversee volunteer tasks such as Day of Blessing, sorting donations, organizing inventory, preparing Home Room items, and assisting with event setup or breakdown Monitor volunteer flow and productivity, adjusting assignments as needed to meet daily priorities Reinforce Day of Blessing and donation guidelines, safety procedures, and organizational policies Communicate volunteer needs, feedback, and any concerns to the Program Manager Support special volunteer events, group serve days, and Days of Blessing as scheduled Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment Qualifications Committed Christian aligned with The Blessing Board's mission and values Strong communication and interpersonal skills Confident leading and guiding individuals or groups Organized, dependable, and able to manage multiple responsibilities Able to work independently and collaboratively Physically capable of standing, walking, and light to moderate activity Leadership or supervisory experience preferred but not required
Schedule Requirement:
