We are looking for a Fleet Maintenance Coordinator to assist the Fleet Manager with the day-to-day operations of the Fleet Maintenance Shop. This position is responsible for truck and trailer parts inventory control, researching inventory discrepancies, ordering and receiving parts, answering phone calls, and performing general office and recordkeeping duties.
Schedule:
Monday - Friday 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM Benefits eligible upon hire. Main Ingredients of the Job Assist the Fleet Manager with daily Fleet Maintenance operations. Maintain truck and trailer parts inventory and investigate inventory discrepancies. Order, receive, and track parts inventory. Coordinate parts deliveries and vendor communications. Answer incoming phone calls and assist internal and external customers. Maintain fleet maintenance records, filing systems, and related documentation. Support fleet maintenance reporting and administrative functions. Perform other duties as assigned. What You Bring to the Table Education / Training High School Diploma or GED equivalent required. Related Experience Knowledge of Class 8 tractor/trailer repair preferred. Fleet maintenance experience preferred.
Knowledge / Skills
/ Abilities Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Self-starter with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks. Hands-on approach to problem solving. Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel preferred. Compensation depends on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, function, geographic location, and other factors as applicable by law. The expected base rate for this role is between $18.00 and $21.00 per hour.
