Job Summary The Warehouse Supervisor provides leadership and oversees the operation, activities and housekeeping of the warehouse and dock. This position is in charge of managing incoming and outgoing waste shipments in accordance with Company's policies and practices as well as applicable regulations. They may also be responsible for ordering supplies and keeping an up-to-date inventory. Other essential duties will include supervising and managing the performance of warehouse workers, maintaining a safe and efficient working environment, and training warehouse personnel. II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Ensure all warehouse personnel perform their tasks safely while utilizing all PPE and other safety equipment at all times. Maintain regulatory compliance within the warehouse and dock. Maintain and manage necessary supplies consisting of PPE, uniforms, cleaning material, processing chemicals, etc., to ensure that adequate inventories are always available. Ensure the warehouse employees maintain productivity standards in all phases of their operations. Review shift productivity to identify maximum efficiencies and operational opportunities. Initiate actions to ensure timely resolution of identified hazards or unsafe conditions or practices. Train all new warehouse personnel and provide appropriate training of all current plant personnel, as required or requested, including safety and compliance. Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction, either internally or externally. Coordinate customer needs by adhering to a defined processing schedule. Interface proactively with transportation personnel to achieve business goals. Periodic facility audits and review of all applicable paperwork Monitor daily performance of warehouse employees, directly or within guidance, providing feedback (including growth opportunities). Influence hiring and firing decisions and disciplinary procedures. Assist in resolving warehouse problems and issues between drivers and warehouse personnel. Maintain overall cost control of the warehouse. Performs other related duties as required or requested. III. Qualifications A. Required Qualifications High School Diploma 1 year of Supervisor or Leadership experience, ideally in a warehouse environment B. Preferred Qualifications Associate's Degree Accredited IV.
