Job Description

Fulfillment Lead Valley Distributing & Storage is seeking a Fulfillment Lead who will assist with the oversight of all distribution services including receiving, storing, shipping, and administrative activities to ensure safety and customer requirements are met. The ideal candidate will provide a positive example of performance, safety, and reliability to the rest of the team. Valley Distributing is a full-service Third-Party Logistics (3PL) provider with over two million square feet of warehousing space. Responsibilities:
  • Operate standard office and warehouse tasks, including picking, packing, labeling, and shipping orders with precision.
  • Load, unload, move, and stage products and materials using powered industrial equipment and handheld RF scanners.
  • Execute a variety of fulfillment tasks, including picking, packing, and labeling.
  • Processes UPS/FED Ex and parcel shipments.
  • Uses order tracking and warehouse management systems to process orders, following customer requirements and/or other instructions to ensure accuracy.
  • Works closely with the Customer Service department to complete the order processing and order tracking.
Qualifications:
Availability to work a flexible schedule as needed, including planned and unplanned overtime, which may occasionally include weekends. Material handling equipment experience (sit down counterbalance forklifts, stand up narrow aisle lifts, electric pallet jacks, etc.). Ability to lift and move 50 pounds safely. Ability to work safely at high levels, upwards of 30 feet. Must be able to work in a varied, fast-paced environment. Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and handheld devices (RF) is required.
