Description:
Join our team as a Yard Supervisor , where you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient and safe handling of our precast products. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead a dedicated team, oversee daily operations, and contribute to the seamless delivery of high-quality products to our customers. What You'll Do:
Oversee and coordinate all truck loading activities as scheduled by the Shipping and Production Supervisor. Supervise and verify yard pick-up loads, ensuring each order matches the load book and is prepared according to company standards. Ensure all products are properly marked, labeled, and identified before shipment. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe yard environment, promoting efficient traffic flow and easy product accessibility. Oversee the placement and storage of all precast castings to optimize yard space and ensure inventory accuracy. Direct loader operators and yard crew members to maintain a smooth and productive daily workflow. Communicate promptly with the Shipping and Production Supervisor regarding any load discrepancies or production concerns.

Company-Paid Life Insurance Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree in Construction Management, Logistics, or a related field preferred. Minimum of 2 years of experience in precast concrete, logistics, or a related field (5 years preferred). Proven ability to safely operate heavy equipment, including a front-end loader. Ability to read and interpret shop drawings, load lists, and production plans accurately. Strong understanding of construction-related math and measurements. Excellent organizational and time management skills with attention to detail. Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to direct and motivate a team effectively. Demonstrated ability to follow direction, problem-solve, and maintain a positive attitude under pressure.
Physical Demands:
Ability to safely lift a minimum of 50 lbs. Ability to climb, stoop, bend, squat, lift, stretch, push, pull, twist, kneel, stand, walk, sit, and reach. Ability to safely climb up and down stairs and/or ladders. Ability to work primarily outside, with exposure to the extremes of hot or cold weather.
