Chattanooga Shooting Supplies (CSSI) is looking for an experienced, hands-on Warehouse Supervisor to help lead our warehouse team and keep our daily operation running safely, efficiently, and accurately. This isn't a desk-only leadership role. We're looking for someone who enjoys being in the middle of the action—coaching employees, solving problems, improving processes, and making sure the team has what they need to succeed. What You'll Do As a Warehouse Supervisor, you'll help oversee and coordinate daily warehouse activities while ensuring productivity, quality, safety, and customer service expectations are met.
Your responsibilities will include:
Lead, train, coach, and evaluate warehouse employees while assigning daily workloads and priorities. Coordinate daily receiving, storage, inventory, order fulfillment, packing, shipping, and distribution activities. Keep the operation moving by monitoring productivity, workflow, accuracy, and daily performance expectations. Track employee attendance, performance, and compliance with company policies and procedures. Promote a strong safety culture and ensure the warehouse remains clean, organized, and safe. Maintain warehouse records, inventory documentation, logs, and reports. Monitor and improve KPI's Develop and maintain training materials for warehouse positions. Assist management with establishing and improving warehouse standards, procedures, and processes. What We're Looking For We want a leader who can balance people, productivity, and accountability . Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. 5+ years of warehouse experience , including at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role . Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach, motivate, and hold employees accountable. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills. Attention to detail and the ability to work independently with limited direction. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows-based systems. Ability to repeatedly lift up to 50 lbs. and stand or walk for extended periods. The Warehouse Supervisor leads overall warehouse operations, develops employees, and is accountable for departmental performance, safety, productivity, quality, and continuous improvement. The Warehouse Supervisor provides direction, sets priorities, drives accountability, and ensures operational activities align with company objectives. This role is empowered to make strategic and day-to-day operational decisions that improve efficiency, support customer service goals, and promote a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
LEADERSHIP & TEAM DEVELOPMENT
Lead, coach, and develop warehouse employees Hold employees accountable for attendance, productivity, quality, and safety. Support onboarding and performance management.
OPERATIONAL MANAGEMENT
Oversee daily warehouse operations. Manage staffing, workflow, and operational priorities. Maintain adequate supplies for warehouse needs Ensures daily warehouse goals are achieved for productivity and accuracy Maintains strong floor presence and actively engages with employees throughout the shift.
SAFETY & COMPLIANCE
Maintain a strong safety culture. Ensure compliance with policies and regulations. Lead incident investigations and corrective actions.
PERFORMANCE & CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT
Monitor and improve KPIs. Implement process improvements. Recognize performance and address deficiencies.
COMMUNICATION
Communicating priorities across departments within the warehouse Communicate with other departments in the company to achieve company objectives. Escalate significant issues and recommend solutions.
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent preferred Supervisory experience preferred. Strong leadership and organizational skills.
