Job Overview Legacy Supply Chain is hiring an experienced Operations Supervisor to support our new dedicated warehouse in Collierville, TN. The Operations Supervisor is responsible for the overall development of associates and for mentoring and coaching a diverse team to success while maximizing productivity, cost savings, quality, and service levels. Additionally, the ideal candidate must be able to interact with senior management and customers in a productive and professional manner. This position includes a comprehensive benefits package including 401(k) plan with up to 5% company match. Schedule and Compensation Monday through Friday

Operations Supervisor:
Responsible for managing all aspects of assigned department/shift. Need to maintain a high degree of visibility and access to team members on the warehouse floor. Establishes and maintains facility standards for productivity, reliability, and accuracy. Ensures all established policies and procedures are followed by team members. Administrative duties include preparing required reports and correspondence as needed. Manages personnel issues to include determining manpower needs, training, motivates, coaches, disciplines team members being supervised, and assists in the resolution of personnel issues. Set the standard for and oversees the housekeeping activities. Maintains a working knowledge of all operating systems pertaining to the work area. Support Safety Programs and best practices. Actively support and participate in Safety and Behavioral Based Safety Committees.
Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years supervisor level experience in distribution or manufacturing environment. BS/BA Degree or equivalent experience. Proven success in maintaining quality, service and client relationships in a high-paced setting. Experience working in team oriented, multi-shift environment. Proven competencies in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook. Warehouse management and inventory management systems experience preferred (Manhattan WMS experience a plus). Knowledge of ISO/QS procedures and Lean/Six Sigma experience preferred. Why Legacy Supply Chain?
