Overview We are seeking a motivated Warehouse Coordinator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for elping manage all transportation and logistics functions. These functions include, but are not limited to, shipping, receiving, inventory, production planning, and driving a safe environment. Responsibilities Assist with warehouse functions, including inventory control (cycle counts) and FIFO of inventory. Assist in ensuring all transportation and logistics tasks are performed in concert with federal, state, and international (where applicable) guidelines and laws. Assist in plant scheduling and execution of FG inventory. Continuously assess raw material yields and provide support to plant process improvement activities related to waste, scrap, and usages. Assist in conjunction with Quality and Manufacturing that products are produced and ship on time (OTD). Attend and communicates in Daily Production team meetings. Unloading/Loading trucks and confirming the shipment are complete per the packing slip. Running reports for current open orders. Scheduling the pickup appointment with the correct carrier. Pulling and staging the orders by lot code/batch codes must be recorded. Coordinates incoming and outgoing inventory deliveries. Loads/Unloads all incoming/outgoing trucks. Receives POs in AX system and helps work through any discrepancies. Maintains inventory accuracy in warehouse along with communicating any issues with internal team. Assist in assigning task for material handlers. Helps mark/label FG for outgoing shipments. Assist in cycle counting warehouse inventory. Maintains housekeeping and warehouse standards. Communicates with customer along with uploading shipments into supply chain system/program. All other duties assigned by manager. Qualifications Basic math skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word, and Outlook. Detail oriented, logical, 6S, and methodological approach to problem solving. Ability to communicate with customers, vendors, and/or transportation companies. Follow written and verbal instructions. Must be able to make quick decisions based on training. Good communication skills, able to work in a team environment, and self-motivated. Familiar with programs such as SAP, Microsoft Dynamics AX, and Barcode Scanner. Familiar with ISO 9001 and GMP requirements. Ability to obtain a forklift certification and operate the forklift safely. Basic skills operating a machine control screen. Ability to think outside of the box and thrive in potentially stressful situations by correctly prioritizing tasks.
Education:
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent; Associate degree preferred; or commensurate mix of education and experience will be considered. 3+ years in warehouse, shipping, and receiving. Physical Requirements/Working Conditions Work is performed while standing, sitting and/or walking. Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision and hearing. Requires the use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations. Requires bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, reaching. Requires the ability to lift, carry, push or pull medium weights, up to 50 pounds and heavier weights with the proper equipment. Requires activities involving being around moving machinery, exposure to marked changes in temperature and humidity, and exposure to dust, fumes and gases.
