OVERVIEW
The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of the Planning Team and supporting departmental operations to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and productivity. This role is responsible for managing inventory accuracy, SAP and Ariba purchase order processes, production performance, reporting, payroll administration, and associate development. The Planning Supervisor will lead and support team members, promote a safe work environment, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and collaborate with cross-functional departments to achieve operational objectives and business goals.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Planning Team Leadership:
Oversee and support the Planning Team, providing direction, training, and guidance to ensure departmental goals and objectives are achieved.Inventory Oversight:
Manage designated inventory bins within the department, ensuring accuracy, organization, and proper inventory control practices.Purchase Order Management:
Oversee SAP and Ariba purchase orders to ensure accuracy, timely processing, and compliance with company requirements.Production Standards:
Monitor daily operations to ensure production targets, quality standards, and performance expectations are consistently met.Reporting & Analysis:
Prepare, maintain, and analyze reports that support departmental assignments, operational performance, and business objectives.Associate Development:
Supervise, train, mentor, and support associates to promote engagement, productivity, and continuous improvement.Payroll Administration:
Review and process employee timecards, ensuring payroll entries are accurate and submitted in a timely manner.Performance Management:
Conduct employee evaluations, performance reviews, and coaching discussions to support employee development and accountability.Deadline Coordination:
Prioritize and manage departmental activities to ensure deadlines, schedules, and deliverables are completed on time.Inventory Accuracy:
Maintain accurate inventory records by monitoring stock levels, investigating discrepancies, and implementing corrective actions as needed.Safety Compliance:
Promote and enforce safe work practices while ensuring all department processes are completed in accordance with company safety standards.Process Improvement:
Identify opportunities to improve processes, increase productivity, reduce waste, and enhance operational efficiency.Additional Responsibilities:
Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by management to support departmental and organizational needs. What We're Looking ForREQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent.QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, ABILITIES & COMPETENCIES SAP
Experience:
Proficient in using SAP for inventory management, purchase order processing, reporting, and other operational functions.Forklift Operation:
Previous forklift experience required, with the ability to safely operate powered industrial equipment and become certified on additional equipment as needed.Microsoft Excel Proficiency:
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including data entry, reporting, spreadsheet management, and basic data analysis.Mathematical Skills:
Demonstrated ability to perform basic mathematical calculations, analyze numerical data, and maintain accurate records.Critical Thinking:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate situations, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.Multitasking Ability:
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Adaptability Under Pressure:
Ability to work effectively under pressure, respond to changing priorities, and make sound decisions in a dynamic work environment.Employee Relations Experience:
Experience handling employee relations matters at the departmental level, including coaching, conflict resolution, and performance management.Diversity & Inclusion:
