The Job Details:
The Warehouse Lead performs all duties of a warehouse associate and assumes the responsibilities of the supervisor in their absence. This role requires effective leadership, communication, and a commitment to safety and operational excellence. Serve as a visible leader within the Cold Crew, fostering strong relationships with staff and promoting our company culture Act as a key liaison between warehouse staff and other departments to ensure smooth and efficient operations Maintain high standards of warehousing practices, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations and inventory accuracy. Enhance operational efficiency by leading, training, and mentoring Warehouse Associates, driving performance improvements. Support assigned associates in meeting productivity goals while addressing any violations of safety or company policies. Proactively troubleshoot warehouse challenges, collaborating with team members to find effective solutions. Manage the truck dock operations, coordinating trailer movements and overseeing the flow of pallets in and out of storage areas. Utilize our Warehouse Management System (WMS) to assign doors, direct tasks, and handle exceptions efficiently. Serve as a primary contact for escalating issues and facilitating timely resolutions. Assume supervisory responsibilities as needed to ensure team accountability and operational success. Perform Warehouse Associate duties as required by business demands.

Operate scanners, tablets, radios, phones, computers, and other essential warehouse equipment as required. Additional work hours may be requested by management to help manage employee production, projects, and or special events. Operate a registered motor vehicle as part of daily tasks. Engage in frequent personal interaction and communication. Possess strong arithmetic and reading skills. Follow verbal instructions, written instructions, and company policies. Be a self-starter, able to work independently and coordinate with others. Thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing stress and meeting productivity guidelines.
