Description Warehouse Coordinator Position Identification:
Non-Exempt ($15.00+ DOE) Reports to:
Production Manager & Operating President Position Summary:

Responsible for carrying out activities directed by the Production Manager and Operating Unit President to ensure that all operations are completed timely, efficiently, and safely. These activities include the coordination of receiving, transporting, organizing and warehousing products and equipment.

Job Functions:

Coordinate Production and Warehouse activities as directed. These activities include deliveries, receiving, storing, loading/unloading and inventory of product and equipment.

Follow all safety policies and procedures to ensure proper handling and safety procedures are adhered to at all times.

Adhere to product receiving practices to ensure that product is received and accounted for as per practice/policy.

Participate in mandatory safety training and adhere to all policies as they relate to your job functions; both in the warehouse and in the yard.

Prepare for inspection of incoming and outgoing merchandise against order and delivery paperwork and specifications. Immediately reporting any inconsistencies and document them in the appropriate program / software.

Immediately report any damaged merchandise or discrepancies and document them in the appropriate program / software.

Conduct cycle counts/create purchase orders and enter stock tickets for both material and equipment inventories.

Coordinate and Participate in semi-annual/annual physical inventories as directed.

Willingly perform any other related duties as required

Coordinate daily loading and unloading of all crew trucks.

Responsible for parking and maintenance of company vehicles; as well as their protection and inventory.

General maintenance as needed around shop and office; coordinates with Management team

Manage storage and disposal of hazardous material / waste; coordinate with Production Manager.

Ensure OSHA compliance on all machinery, equipment and procedures.

Maintain and meet all DOT regulations on truck fleet, if applicable.

Ensure all areas of the warehouse, material yard, and equipment yard are maintained in a clean and orderly state. Knowledge, Skills & Experience (Essential): Strongattention to detail and accuracy

Ability to communicate effectively (oral and written) and work well within a team environment.

Demonstrated computer ability

Good time management skills

Must have a valid driver's license with a good driving record. A CDL would be a plus

Must be in a good physical condition, capable of manual labor including lifting

Pass pre-employment background and drug screening Knowledge, Skills & Experience (Desirable): Bilingual in English and Spanish

Knowledge of business and management principles

Knowledge of accounting practices

Proficiency with Microsoft programs

Ability to navigate company equipment including trailers.

Correct utilization of appropriate personal protective equipment

Working Conditions:

Physical surroundings: Warehouse environment with typical loading machines (forklifts) and exposure to noise and temperature; Construction and Roofing Project sites with accompanying machinery, equipment, and materials.

Physical Effort:

Extensive sitting, standing, walking, climbing ladders. Repetitive keying, typing. Occasional lifting not to exceed 50 pounds.

Travel:

Occasional, for purposes of training in operating units

Hours:
