Full-Time Position Summary The Shipping Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily outbound shipping operations within a fast-paced warehouse environment near the DFW Airport. This role ensures timely, accurate, and compliant shipment of goods while leading a team of warehouse associates. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership, logistics coordination, and process improvement skills to support high-volume distribution operations. Key Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily shipping activities, including order picking, packing, labeling, and dispatch. Ensure all outbound shipments meet customer requirements, carrier specifications, and deadlines. Monitor workflow to maximize efficiency, productivity, and accuracy in a high-volume warehouse environment. Lead, train, and coach a team of warehouse associates; manage scheduling, attendance, and performance. Collaborate with receiving, inventory, and transportation teams to ensure seamless operations. Maintain compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and OSHA standards. Troubleshoot shipping issues, delays, or discrepancies and implement corrective actions. Coordinate with carriers, including air cargo and ground transportation providers, especially within the DFW logistics network. Maintain accurate shipping documentation, inventory records, and system updates (WMS/ERP). Identify and implement continuous improvements to streamline processes and reduce costs. Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy of shipments and inventory. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field preferred. 3-5+ years of warehouse or logistics experience, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory role. Experience working in high-volume distribution or airport logistics environments strongly preferred. Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and shipping software. Knowledge of domestic and international shipping regulations is a plus. Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.
