In this vital role, you will oversee the efficient coordination of shipping and receiving operations, ensuring that all orders are processed accurately and promptly. Your expertise in warehouse management systems, inventory management, and shipping logistics will drive seamless order fulfillment and customer satisfaction. Duties Manage daily shipping and receiving activities, including load and unload operations using equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts (certification preferred), and RF scanners Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP systems like AS400, and inventory management software to track shipments, update records, and ensure data accuracy Coordinate order picking, packing, and stocking processes to meet customer delivery deadlines while maintaining inventory integrity Prepare shipping documentation in compliance with trade regulations and international trade laws, ensuring adherence to trade compliance standards Collaborate with warehouse staff on order fulfillment, inventory replenishment, and warehouse distribution tasks to optimize workflow efficiency Monitor shipping & receiving schedules, troubleshoot issues promptly, and communicate effectively with carriers, suppliers, and internal teams Conduct regular audits of inventory levels using MRP (Material Requirements Planning) tools to support accurate stock management and reorder points Qualifications Proven experience in warehouse operations or logistics roles with a focus on shipping & receiving Strong familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management software, ERP systems (such as AS400), and RF scanners Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for order quantities, weights, measurements, and documentation purposes Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for reporting and communication tasks Valid forklift certification or experience operating forklifts safely; additional certifications such as trade compliance or trade regulations are a plus Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for data entry, order picking & packing, and stock management Knowledge of international trade regulations and shipping logistics procedures to ensure compliance across borders Physical ability to load/unload shipments using equipment like pallet jacks or order pickers; capable of standing for extended periods during shift hours Join our team as a Shipping Coordinator if you thrive in a fast-moving environment where your organizational skills make a real impact.
