Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Warehouse Lead Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for various warehouse operations, ensuring the efficient handling of materials and maintaining a safe working environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse settings and be proficient in operating various equipment. Responsibilities Lead in maintaining cleanliness of warehouse, yard and office, as well as maintenance of warehouse equipment. Learn and retain a comprehensive knowledge of products. Delegate tasks along with practicing good time management. Load and unload products to and from trucks, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage. Learn how to receive and transfer inventory efficiently and accurately. Learn how to use point of sale efficiently and effectively. Maintain and keep up with both Hot Shot deliveries locally and help with staging deliveries and orders to ensure timely delivery to customers. Perform materials handling tasks, including sorting, storing, and distributing products within the warehouse. Lead in conducting regular inventory checks of all products to maintain accurate stock levels and have ability to recognize and resolve discrepancies. Must be knowledgeable about what products are in the warehouse and keeping track of what inventory is coming in or going out. Interact with customers professionally and respectfully. Must be able to assist customers with products and issues. Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts. Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and improve operational efficiency. Perform heavy lifting as required, adhering to safety protocols to prevent injury. Initiative to carry out all tasks while operating independently and communicate with store manager on any needs or concerns related to tasks. Takes on Lead/Management duties when store manager is out. Qualifications Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment is preferred. Proficiency in operating forklifts Possess strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities, manage multiple responsibilities, and perform effectively in a dynamic work environment. Basic computer skills Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) consistently throughout the shift. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively. Ability to interact with customers and build good relations with them. Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
