The Role Our Distribution Center is seeking Shipping Clerk for full-time opportunities. This position is based at our warehouse near Lancaster area for the first month as warehouse operations is expected to relocate to Ennis , TX after that period. Applicants must have reliable transportation and be able to commute to Lancaster now and Ennis after the move. Loloi Rugs is offering an excellent job opportunity for a Shipping Lead position. The Shipping Lead plans, organizes and monitors the shipping area, storage and distribution of all material items shipped, ensuring a smooth and consistent operation so materials are located and distributed properly in an effective and efficient manner as needed. Responsibilities:

Assists shipping manager with development, implementation and maintenance of policies and procedures Provide positive leadership with appropriate accountability of shipping team Oversee daily shipping related activities at facility Keep key staff informed of any situations impacting shipping schedules Stay up to date on all shipping rules, regulations and carrier requirements Work with carriers to ensure all orders leave the building on time. Act as the point person on shipping related issues Document carrier instructions, both incoming and outgoing Review customer packing/loading requirements and ensure compliance Make sure display supplies are on hand, assembled as needed and shipped on time Work side-by-side with the Shipping Associates by pulling orders based on packing slips, ensuring correct lot numbers, checking orders for accuracy and packing them properly according to company standards Invoice orders, print shipping labels and properly affix to packages Other duties as needed.

Qualifications:

Minimum 3 years of relevant warehouse experience Strong inventory control skills. Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal & written) Strong attention to detail Expertise with PC and Microsoft Office products required Ability to motivate, measure, and lead teams effectively Strong decision making and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of proper safety procedures, equipment maintenance and warehouse best practices. The ability to lift up to 50lbs Ability to stand for long periods of time while carrying and moving items of different sizes Constantly works in outdoor weather conditions.
