Based in Houston, Texas, Saber Power offers deep subject matter expertise and uses an engineering-led approach to designing, installing, testing, and maintaining medium and high-voltage electrical infrastructure. Saber serves clients locally, nationally, and abroad. Saber Power Services seeks a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse and Logistics Coordinator to oversee daily warehouse operations and coordinate the movement of materials, tools, and equipment to support field operations and project execution. This position plays a critical role in ensuring inventory accuracy, efficient logistics, and timely deliveries while maintaining a safe, organized, and compliant warehouse environment. The ideal candidate has experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, shipping and receiving, and logistics coordination within a construction, utility, manufacturing, or industrial environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Coordinate daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, issuing, and shipping materials, tools, and equipment. Schedule and coordinate inbound and outbound freight with carriers, vendors, and project teams. Maintain accurate inventory records through inventory management systems and perform routine cycle counts and physical inventories. Verify incoming shipments for accuracy, inspect materials for damage, and resolve discrepancies with vendors and purchasing. Prepare shipping documentation, bills of lading, packing lists, and other required logistics documentation. Coordinate deliveries to project sites while ensuring materials arrive on schedule to support project timelines. Organize warehouse inventory to maximize efficiency, accessibility, and safety. Monitor inventory levels and communicate replenishment needs to Procurement and Project Management. Load, unload, and move materials using forklifts and other warehouse equipment as needed. Ensure proper handling, storage, and tracking of company-owned tools, equipment, and materials. Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization in accordance with company safety standards. Coordinate equipment mobilization and demobilization for construction projects. Track shipments and provide status updates to internal stakeholders. Work closely with Procurement, Project Managers, Field Operations, and vendors to resolve shipping and inventory issues. Assist with asset tracking and equipment maintenance records. Ensure compliance with company policies, OSHA regulations, and applicable transportation requirements. Perform other job-related duties as requested by management.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field preferred. Forklift certification or the ability to become certified.
