Warehouse & Inside Operations Lead ASO Roofing Supply Houston, TX Job Details Full-time $22 - $26 an hour 11 hours ago Qualifications Computer operation Spanish Customer communication Customer returns handling English Attention to detail Warehouse experience Full Job Description Warehouse & Inside Operations Lead ASO Roofing Supply - Houston, TX Full-Time Position Overview ASO Roofing Supply is looking for a strong, dependable Warehouse & Inside Operations Lead to help manage day-to-day warehouse operations, assist customers, and maintain accurate inventory and order processing. This is a hands-on position for someone who is comfortable working with customers, using a computer, coordinating warehouse employees, and working directly in the warehouse and yard. We are looking for someone who takes ownership, stays organized, solves problems, and helps keep the operation running efficiently. Responsibilities Assist customers at the counter and will-call area Enter, review, and process customer orders Coordinate with warehouse employees to pull, stage, and load orders quickly and accurately Provide professional and friendly service to contractors and customers Receive incoming vendor shipments and verify quantities Maintain accurate inventory quantities and product locations Research and correct inventory discrepancies Process returns, damaged material, transfers, and inventory adjustments Make sure material leaving the warehouse is properly documented Keep warehouse locations, staging areas, returns, and damaged material organized Perform cycle counts and assist with physical inventory Learn and take ownership of the company's inventory and order management systems Help train warehouse employees on procedures and systems Work closely with management, inside sales, drivers, and warehouse personnel Identify problems and help improve warehouse processes What We're Looking For Strong organization and attention to detail Comfortable working with computers and learning new systems Good customer service and communication skills Able to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment Takes ownership and solves problems Comfortable working both at a computer and in the warehouse/yard Warehouse, inventory, distribution, or building-material experience preferred Roofing or construction-material experience is a plus Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred What Success Looks Like This position is more than just moving material. We want someone who can help keep inventory accurate, customers moving, orders organized, and the warehouse operating efficiently. The ideal person will become a key connection between our customers, inside sales team, warehouse employees, drivers, and management. We are looking for someone who wants responsibility, takes pride in running an organized operation, and has the ability to grow with the company.
