Openwork is hiring an experienced Overnight Warehouse Lead for a well-established company opening a new Houston location. With more than 60 years in business and 29+ locations nationwide, our client offers a stable environment with opportunities for professional and leadership growth. We're looking for a dependable, positive, hands-on leader who can guide a warehouse team, keep operations organized, and help employees succeed.WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- Lead and support warehouse employees
- Conduct shift-start briefings and communicate daily priorities
- Keep workflow organized and employees on task
- Inspect and process returned materials following quality procedures
- Build and prepare flight kits for United Airlines
- Coordinate incoming and outgoing airline laundry (no washing involved)
- Maintain accurate records, logs, and basic reports
- Support warehouse housekeeping, safety, and organization
- Push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Remain standing and active for 8+ hours
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 1-2+ years of warehouse lead or team lead experience
- 1-2+ years of warehouse experience
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Reliable and punctual attendance
- Positive attitude with an interest in coaching and developing others
- Willingness to learn and grow
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organization, accountability, and attention to detail
- Sit-down forklift experience is a plus
- Ability to meet all pre-employment requirements
- Must understand and be committed to working a dedicated overnight shift
