$16.00 - $18.00 per hour Job Summary Bulloch Fabricating Inc. is a Sheet Metal Fabricating manufacturer in Lewisville, TX that was established in 1985. We offer quality design and development of all sheet metal needs, specializing in precision manufacturing and timely delivery. We serve numerous industries, including but not limited to: Baggage Handling Conveyors, Electrical Cabinets, Store Fixturing, Electronic Processing Equipment, and Turnkey Machining.
Responsibilities include:
Directing a team of shipping operators in the packaging/crating of a variety of sheet metal products for shipping both local and distant deliveries, leading by example. Hands on packaging and crating of jobs to be shipped. Comprehending and planning of each days required shipments/pickups to/from customers and outside services by working with printed schedules, shop work orders and manufacturing supervisors. Scheduling and directing driver for local deliveries and pickups as required. Keep dock organized and as clean as possible. Ensure proper handling of all shop paperwork. Ensure all items to be shipped are reviewed and signed off by QA and that all product is labeled as required by customers. Be attentive to product moving onto the dock, have knowledge of what is on the dock at all times and when items are needed to ship or move to another location within the shop. Work to improve shipping efficiency by streamlining shipping methods and/or processes. Promote a safe working environment, by ensuring safety policies are known and followed at all times.
Qualifications:
Previous shipping/packing experience. Previous lead operator experience. Ability to comprehend blueprints, drawings, shop paperwork and bills of material. Good communication skills, ability to verbally direct others effectively. Ability to use computers and experience with MS Suite products (Outlook, Word, Excel). Detailed Oriented, self-motivated. Dependable, ability to work in a team environment. Previous sheet metal job shop experience a plus. Bi-lingual in English and Spanish a plus. Compensation is commensurate with related experience.
