Associate Fuel Systems Repair and Modification Technician -

Boeing Aerospace Operations Boeing Defense Space & Security (BDS) is looking for an Associate Fuel Systems Repair and Modification Technicians to join our Executive Fleet team in San Antonio, TX .

Position Responsibilities:

Perform detailed inspections, maintenance, and repairs on aircraft fuel systems, to include Engine Feed, Fuel Transfer, Fuel Indicating, Fuel Dump/Vent, Refuel/Defuel systems as well as External fuel tanks Troubleshoot, inspect, repair, modify, replace aircraft fuel components and systems and perform operational checks E nsure compliance with all safety standards, technical orders, and regulatory requirements Maintain necessary certifications, licenses and permits as required for assigned work Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to improve fuel system reliability and performance Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and fuel system status Use precision measuring instruments, gauges, tools, etc., necessary to check dimensions and conformance to quality requirements Support aircraft readiness and mission requirements by ensuring fuel systems are fully operational Ability to work in confined spaces and at various heights Ability to lift and handle heavy equipment Assist other team members (Avionics, Structures, Electrical) to ensure cost/schedule targets are met This position requires the ability to pass an assessment during the training cycle Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): 4+ years of experience working as a Fuel Systems Technician/Mechanic 4+ years of experience in working with blueprints, specifications, assembly drawings and standard operating procedures Ability to work in confined spaces for extended periods during shift Ability to work variable shifts, including weekends and overtime Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): 3+ years of experience with operations or maintenance of Executive Fleet Aircraft Experience in aircraft heavy maintenance Ability to operate a forklift, mobile crane, and riding type electric powered elevating equipment

Summary Starting Pay Rate :

$79,000 / $37.98 per hour
