Job Description
Job Summary The Warehouse Supervisor leads the day-to-day operations of the warehouse and directs a team of 4 to 10 people. The core purpose of the role is to ensure production has the right materials, in the right place, at the right time by coordinating and pre-staging material for the production line. The supervisor oversees accurate receiving and put-away, keeps the warehouse clean and orderly, coordinates finished-goods shipments, runs weekly rotating inventory counts, and proactively alerts procurement when stock runs low. Key Responsibilities Supervise, schedule, and coordinate a team of 4-10 warehouse staff. Coordinate the appropriate and timely provision of materials to the production line, staging material in advance so it is ready when production needs it. Ensure all incoming material is properly unloaded, checked in to SAP, and put away in the correct warehouse location. Maintain cleanliness, order, and safety throughout the warehouse. Coordinate the shipment of finished goods. Perform weekly rotating (cycle) inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies in SAP. Alert the procurement team when stock levels reach low / reorder points. Desired Skills & Requirements Forklift license / certification. Experience unloading large / heavy materials from containers. Strong Excel skills. Experience with an ERP system (desirable), preferably SAP.
