Job Summary We are looking for a dependable and motivated Recycling Warehouse Lead to help oversee daily warehouse operations and support a small team in a fast-paced electronics recycling environment. This position combines hands-on warehouse work with leadership responsibilities, including coordinating workflow, maintaining organization and safety standards, assisting customers, and helping ensure materials are processed efficiently and correctly. The ideal candidate is comfortable leading by example, staying organized in a constantly changing environment, and helping create an efficient and positive workplace culture. Valid driver's license is required for this position Essential Duties and Responsibilities Lead and assist a warehouse team of 2-4 employees during daily operations Help coordinate daily workflow and prioritize incoming materials and customer drop-offs Assist in receiving, unloading, sorting, and processing incoming electronics and recyclable materials Operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently Help train and guide team members on warehouse procedures, organization, and safety expectations Monitor warehouse cleanliness, organization, and operational efficiency throughout the day Assist customers with unloading items and provide professional customer service Help maintain accurate sorting and placement of materials on racks, shelves, pallets, and designated areas Take customer payments when needed Identify operational issues and communicate solutions to management Ensure proper safety procedures and equipment usage are consistently followed Qualifications and Requirements Previous warehouse, recycling, logistics, or team lead experience preferred Strong leadership and interpersonal skills Ability to motivate and work alongside a small team Forklift certification is a plus but not required. Training can be provided onsite Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills Ability to work independently and make decisions in a fast-paced environment Valid driver's license required Physical Demands and Abilities Regularly lift and/or move objects weighing 50-70 lbs and occasionally more than 100 lbs with assistance Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and move throughout the warehouse Occasionally required to sit, climb, or balance Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus Schedule Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Occasional Saturdays are required during event season. If a Saturday shift is worked, an additional weekday off will be provided so employees still receive two days off per week.
