Job Description

We're looking for a highly organized, self-motivated Shop Manager / Warehouse & Fleet Coordinator who takes pride in creating order, improving processes, and making sure every day starts with our team set up for success. This isn't just a warehouse job—it's an operations leadership role. You'll oversee our shop, inventory, fleet, warehouse organization, and technician support while helping improve the systems that keep our company running efficiently. What You'll Do As our Shop Manager, you'll be responsible for keeping our entire operation running smoothly by: Warehouse & Shop Operations Open and close the shop each day Maintain a clean, organized, and professional facility Keep tools, equipment, and materials organized and accessible Maintain safe work areas and organized staging areas Inventory Management Receive and verify deliveries Stock inventory accurately Track inventory levels and perform cycle counts Maintain organized shelving and storage systems Monitor minimum and maximum inventory levels Reduce waste and identify slow-moving inventory Fleet Management Coordinate maintenance for company vehicles Track oil changes, tires, registrations, and insurance Keep trucks clean, organized, and fully stocked Coordinate repairs and ensure every vehicle is ready for the next workday Technician Support Pull and stage materials for upcoming jobs Load trucks and prepare equipment Assist technicians with supply needs Handle returns and specialty material requests Help keep crews productive and on schedule Process Improvement Improve warehouse organization and workflow Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) Create systems that improve efficiency and accountability Continuously look for better ways to support the field team What Success Looks Like You'll know you're succeeding when: Inventory accuracy stays above 98% Technicians have everything they need before leaving the shop Company vehicles are clean, maintained, and fully stocked Emergency supply runs become rare The warehouse stays organized and efficient Field teams consistently compliment the support they receive What We're Looking For Highly organized with excellent attention to detail Self-motivated and dependable Strong problem-solving skills Comfortable lifting HVAC equipment and materials Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Basic computer skills Warehouse or HVAC experience preferred Forklift experience is a plus Someone who takes pride in keeping things clean, efficient, and professional Why Join Mayster Heating & Air?
