Warehouse Coordinator Reports to :Senior Store Manager Salary:
$22.26 per hourEmployee Status:
Non-exempt. Full-Time, Hourly The Warehouse Coordinator plays a key role in the daily operations of our store's warehouse. This individual is responsible for organizing inventory, overseeing incoming and outgoing donations (including vendor-donated new materials), and maintaining a clean, efficient, and safe warehouse space. The ideal candidate is hands-on, organized, and thrives in a dynamic, customer- and mission-driven environment. Receive, inspect, and sort incoming furniture donations and new materials from vendors. Coordinate and track inventory, ensuring accurate record-keeping of incoming and outgoing items. Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the warehouse, showroom staging areas, and loading docks. Assist with loading and unloading furniture and materials using appropriate equipment and techniques. Collaborate with store staff to move merchandise to the sales floor as needed. Schedule and coordinate deliveries when applicable. Perform commercial and residential donation pick ups. Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and donors to support ongoing donations. Ensure compliance with safety standards and procedures for warehouse operations. Conduct regular inventory audits and communicate discrepancies or low stock items. Assist customers and donors in a friendly and helpful manner when interacting on-site. Skills & Qualifications Valid Driver's license and experience driving Non-CDL commercial trucks High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous warehouse, inventory, or retail experience preferred. Strong organizational and time management skills. Basic computer skills for inventory tracking Forklift certification a plus Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude. Must be dependable, self-motivated, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Minimum three years work experience, preferably one year in a management role. Prior experience Retail a plus.Work Environment:
Small warehouse attached to a retail furniture store. Occasional exposure to dust, varying temperatures, and moving furniture or large objects. Collaborative and mission-focused workplace culture.Physical demands:
