Warehouse Supervisor Job Description This role oversees operations in a high-volume warehouse environment, ensuring safe, efficient, and accurate handling of inventory and production-related activities The Warehouse Supervisor leads a team of warehouse associates, coordinates workflow, and maintains strong control over inventory and packaging processes while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement Job Responsibilities Supervise and direct a team of 12 or more warehouse employees during 2nd shift to ensure smooth and efficient operations Plan, organize, and manage daily workflow to meet production, packaging, and shipping targets Oversee inventory management activities, including stock handling, storage, and accuracy of inventory records Coordinate packing and production-related warehouse tasks to ensure orders are completed accurately and on time Lead, coach, and mentor team members to build skills, improve performance, and promote a positive work culture Monitor productivity and quality standards, and adjust staffing or processes as needed to achieve operational goals Enforce safety procedures and warehouse best practices to maintain a safe and compliant work environment Collaborate with other departments or shifts to support continuous operations and resolve workflow issues Essential Skills Proven experience supervising 12 or more employees in a warehouse or similar operational environment Strong inventory management skills, including managing workflow and maintaining accurate stock control Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop a warehouse team Hands-on experience with warehouse operations such as packing, production support, and packaging Competence in warehouse management practices, including organizing work, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Troy, MI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $29.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
