Job Title:
Warehouse Supervisor Job Description We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead our 3rd shift distribution operations. This role involves overseeing warehouse personnel, including order selectors, forklift operators, and truck loaders, to ensure accurate, safe, and on-time shipments. A strong background in logistics, warehouse operations, and team leadership is essential, with previous experience in the food and beverage industry preferred. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily activities of warehouse associates, order selectors, forklift operators, and loaders. Ensure orders are picked, staged, loaded, and shipped accurately and on schedule. Monitor employee productivity, attendance, and performance while maintaining a positive team environment. Enforce safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe work environment. Conduct shift meetings and provide training, coaching, and development for warehouse employees. Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics activities to support operational goals. Investigate and resolve shipping, inventory, and operational issues. Ensure product quality and proper handling of inventory throughout the distribution process. Collaborate with transportation, inventory control, and management teams to improve efficiency. Maintain accurate warehouse records and operational reports. Essential Skills 3+ years of warehouse supervisory experience in a distribution environment. Experience supervising order selectors, forklift operators, and truck loaders. Strong logistics and supply chain knowledge. Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), shipping, receiving, and inventory. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities. Proficient with Microsoft Office and warehouse technology systems. Additional Skills & Qualifications Food & beverage distribution experience preferred. Forklift operation knowledge preferred. Experience planning schedules. Hands-on experience with order selectors and forklift operators. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Bessemer, AL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $800000.00/yr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
