In person Job Summary We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Warehouse Supervisor to lead daily warehouse operations in a fast-paced distribution and e-commerce environment. Reporting to the Operations Manager , this position is responsible for supervising warehouse staff, coordinating daily fulfillment activities, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring orders are picked, packed, and shipped accurately and on time. The Warehouse Supervisor will also play an important role in maintaining an organized, safe, and efficient facility and identifying opportunities to improve warehouse processes. The ideal candidate is a strong team leader who is comfortable working alongside the team when needed, holding employees accountable, managing competing priorities, and keeping daily operations moving. Key Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory management, picking, packing, shipping, kitting, co-packing, and materials handling. Lead, coach, schedule, and support warehouse associates to meet daily productivity, accuracy, and fulfillment goals. Assign daily work and adjust staffing and priorities based on order volume and operational needs. Monitor order flow and fulfillment deadlines to ensure customer orders are shipped accurately and on time. Maintain accurate inventory through proper receiving, storage, movement, cycle counts, and inventory reconciliation. Investigate inventory discrepancies and work to identify and correct root causes. Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments and work with UPS, FedEx, USPS, and other carriers as needed. Monitor warehouse KPIs, identify bottlenecks, and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy. Support and maintain 5S and Lean warehouse practices , including organization, cleanliness, standardization, and continuous improvement. Train employees on warehouse procedures, systems, equipment, safety requirements, and company expectations. Ensure compliance with OSHA requirements and company safety policies. Conduct regular warehouse, safety, inventory, and PPE audits. Promote a clean, organized, safe, and productive work environment. Ensure equipment, supplies, and warehouse resources are properly maintained and available for daily operations. Communicate operational issues, staffing needs, inventory concerns, and process improvement opportunities to the Operations Manager. Perform other warehouse and operational duties as needed. Qualifications & Experience High school diploma or GED required. Associate degree or equivalent operations/warehouse management experience preferred. Minimum of 3+ years warehouse experience with at least 1-2 years in a lead or supervisory role in a fast-paced distribution, fulfillment, or similar environment. Strong experience with inventory management, shipping and receiving, order fulfillment, and materials handling. Demonstrated ability to lead employees, set expectations, provide feedback, and hold team members accountable. Experience managing daily workload, staffing, and fulfillment priorities. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Experience with 5S, Lean Manufacturing, or continuous improvement practices is a plus. Comfortable working with warehouse management, inventory, and order-management software. Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and general computer systems. Experience with ShipStation, Slack, UPS, FedEx, and USPS shipping systems is a plus. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment where priorities and order volumes may change throughout the day.
