Do you enjoy solving problems, coordinating shipments, and ensuring products reach customers accurately and on time? We are seeking a Shipping Supervisor to lead the daily shipping, receiving, warehouse, and inventory activities at our Milwaukee manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for ensuring efficient material flow, inventory accuracy, on-time customer deliveries, and compliance with customer and quality requirements. The ideal candidate is an organized and proactive leader who can balance strategic planning with hands-on execution. What You Will Do Manage daily outbound shipments and customer deliveries Coordinate inbound receipts of materials and supplies Schedule and manage LTL, FTL, parcel, and expedited freight Communicate directly with carriers regarding pickups and deliveries Process shipping, receiving, and inventory transactions in IQMS Ensure compliance with customer shipping requirements Investigate shipping discrepancies and inventory issues Train and provide direction to shipping personnel Drive continuous improvement in shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations What We Are Looking For High school diploma or GED 5+ years of shipping/logistics experience in manufacturing Prior supervisory or lead experience Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills Experience with ERP systems; IQMS preferred Microsoft Office proficiency Forklift experience or ability to obtain certification Knowledge of inventory control and shipping documentation
