Full Job Description Outbound Team Lead Location:
Pleasant Prairie, WI, 53158 Position Overview The Outbound Team Lead is directly responsible for the day-to-day operations and team members to ensure all departmental and warehouse goals are achieved. This is a working Team Lead position requiring hands-on involvement in various warehouse functions including product receiving, replenishing, processing returns, order fulfillment, on-time shipping, equipment maintenance, employee training, safety, staffing, and scheduling.
Please note:
This position requires working on Saturday and Sunday. Essential Job Functions and Expectations Communicate and collaborate effectively with full-time and seasonal associates. Train, guide, and evaluate new employees to ensure team competency and performance. Support warehouse managers with special projects and additional duties as required. Process paperwork for outbound shipments accurately and timely. Release orders within required timeframes to meet shipping deadlines. Maintain organization and cleanliness of the pick/pack area to ensure a safe and efficient work environment. Operate and drive a Reach Truck safely and efficiently. Competencies Analytical Thinking and Problem Solving Teamwork and Collaboration Effective Communication Planning and Organization Minimum Requirements Three (3) years' experience in a warehouse environment, including at least one (1) year in a leadership role. High School Diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred. Physically able to lift up to 60 lbs and stand for extended periods. Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously with strong attention to detail. Desired Skills Reach Truck experience and valid license. Flexibility to work different shifts as needed.
