Duties Supervise daily warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, inventory management, and materials handling to ensure operational excellence. Lead and motivate warehouse staff, providing clear direction, coaching, and performance feedback to cultivate a high-performing team. Coordinate with logistics partners and 3PL providers to streamline distribution center operations and improve delivery timelines. Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management software to track stock levels, process orders, and maintain accurate records. Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and RF scanners safely while adhering to OSHA standards. Implement process improvements using lean management principles to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize workflow. Ensure compliance with safety regulations including OSHA guidelines and company policies for heavy lifting, equipment operation, and general warehouse safety. Requirements Proven experience in warehouse supervision or management within distribution centers or logistics environments. Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control systems, and logistics processes. Hands-on experience operating forklifts, RF scanners, and other material handling equipment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) or inventory management systems. Excellent team leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Strong managerial communication skills to coordinate teams, communicate expectations clearly, and resolve issues promptly. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle materials efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
