Duties Lead and manage warehouse staff to execute daily distribution center operations with enthusiasm and precision. Coordinate shipping and receiving activities, ensuring timely and accurate processing of goods. Oversee inventory control procedures using warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners to maintain high accuracy levels. Implement process improvements to streamline workflows, reduce waste, and enhance safety protocols aligned with OSHA standards. Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts safely and efficiently to facilitate movement of goods. Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, provide feedback, and foster a collaborative environment. Monitor compliance with safety regulations, including proper use of heavy lifting techniques and materials handling procedures. Experience Proven experience in warehouse distribution or logistics operations, with a strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS). Demonstrated leadership skills in a warehouse supervisor or team lead role, managing teams effectively in fast-paced settings. Hands-on experience operating forklifts and other material handling equipment in accordance with safety standards. Familiarity with inventory management practices, including cycle counting, stock control, and shipping & receiving processes. Knowledge of lean management principles to optimize warehouse workflows and improve overall efficiency. Strong communication skills for managerial tasks such as coaching staff, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and managing logistics documentation. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle materials efficiently while maintaining OSHA compliance.
