Job Description
Job Summary Midwest Assembly, Warehouse & Distribution (MAWD), a family-owned and operated subsidiary of Mayer Enterprises, is headquartered in West Bend, WI. Our 500,000 square foot facility provides a secure, controlled environment to meet the needs of over 100 clients throughout the Midwest. We're looking for a team-oriented, self-motivated professional with a background in warehouse operations or logistics to join our team. This role is key in keeping our distribution process running smoothly while supporting customers and internal teams. As a Distribution Coordinator, you'll combine office administration, order management, and logistics coordination, helping ensure orders are processed accurately, shipments are on time, and customer needs are met. The right candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys solving problems, and takes pride in being a reliable go-to resource for the team. Responsibilities Manage customer accounts and provide front-line service, including phone support, order entry, receipt processing, and troubleshooting portal/report issues. Prepare and process billing reports, payroll hours, and other administrative reporting tasks using Excel and Warehouse Management System. Generate, review, and audit inventory and freight logs, ensuring accurate balancing of inbound/outbound transactions and proper cost allocations. Record and coordinate shipping requests, including scheduling domestic and international carriers, obtaining quotes, and preparing all required documentation (bills of lading, invoices, certificates of origin, etc.). Reconcile and maintain accurate inventory and shipment records in both computerized and physical systems; transfer file information into Warehouse Management System. Provide support to the operations team through reporting, time tracking, and other distribution-related tasks as needed. Skills Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel. Strong ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), preferably Excalibur. Customer service and account management experience preferred. Knowledge of warehouse and distribution processes is a plus. Team-oriented attitude with a willingness to collaborate. Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic. Education/and/or Experience High school diploma or equivalent required; additional coursework or certifications in business, administration, or logistics preferred. Minimum of 2 years of experience in an administrative, distribution, or logistics support role. Physical Requirements Ability to sit at a computer for extended periods. Occasional standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 25 pounds may be required in support of warehouse activities.
