Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Shipping Coordinator to join our dynamic logistics team. In this vital role, you will oversee the end-to-end shipping and receiving processes, ensuring seamless coordination across supply chain operations. Your expertise in inventory management, transportation planning, and warehouse distribution will drive efficiency and accuracy in order fulfillment. Duties Coordinate and monitor all shipping and receiving activities, ensuring timely dispatch and delivery of goods Manage inventory control processes within warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP platforms to maintain accurate stock levels Oversee transportation management systems (TMS) for freight scheduling, dispatching, and route planning to optimize transportation costs and delivery times Collaborate with procurement teams on sourcing, category management, and pricing strategies to support supply chain efficiency Handle materials handling, packaging, picking & packing, and order fulfillment to guarantee quality standards are met Maintain detailed records of shipments, freight documentation, and warehouse operations for compliance and reporting purposes Drive process improvement initiatives by analyzing supply chain data, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing best practices in logistics workflows Qualifications Proven experience in supply chain management, warehouse distribution, or logistics roles with a focus on shipping & receiving Strong knowledge of inventory management systems (e.g., WMS, AS400), ERP systems (e.g., SAP), and transportation management systems (TMS) Familiarity with freight forwarding, NVOCC (Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier), 3PL providers, and fleet management practices Ability to utilize data analysis skills for demand planning, supply chain analytics, and process optimization Hands-on experience with materials handling equipment such as forklifts; certification preferred Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in order picking, dispatching, and documentation processes Strong communication skills to coordinate across departments including procurement, warehouse teams, and transportation providers Join us as a Shipping Coordinator to be at the heart of our supply chain operations!
