Job Title:
2nd Shift Warehouse Worker Job Description The warehouse worker plays a key role in ensuring accurate and efficient order fulfillment in a busy, fast-paced warehouse environment. In this role, you pick and verify orders, build pallets, and use various types of material handling equipment to prepare shipments with precision and care. You help maintain accurate inventory records using RF scanning equipment while consistently following safety policies and supporting a collaborative team culture. Responsibilities Pick, verify, and prepare customer orders with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Build and wrap pallets securely to ensure products are stable and ready for shipment. Operate material handling equipment (MHE), including forklifts and stand-up forklifts, in a safe and efficient manner. Use RF scanners to receive, store, and ship products while maintaining accurate inventory records. Follow all safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your teammates. Work independently or alongside others to meet high-demand workloads and productivity goals. Contribute to maintaining an organized warehouse by properly staging, labeling, and storing products. Support inventory management activities, including counting, verifying, and reconciling stock as needed. Communicate clearly with team members and supervisors to resolve order or inventory issues. Arrive to each shift prepared to work hard and contribute positively to the team. Essential Skills Experience operating forklifts and stand-up forklifts in a warehouse or similar environment. Proficiency using RF scanners for order picking, inventory tracking, and shipping activities. Ability to perform accurate order picking and verification under high-demand workloads. Strong focus on safety and adherence to all material handling and warehouse safety policies. Capability to work both independently and collaboratively with a team to meet productivity targets. Reliable work habits, including consistent attendance and punctuality. Positive attitude and strong work ethic, with a willingness to take initiative and support team goals. Additional Skills & Qualifications Comfort working in a non-temperature-controlled warehouse environment that may be warm in the summer and chilly in the winter. Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, lifting, and moving products throughout the shift. Strong attention to detail when building pallets and verifying orders. Good communication skills for coordinating with team members and supervisors. Basic understanding of inventory management practices in a warehouse setting. Why Work Here? Work Environment The role is based in a busy warehouse that is not temperature controlled, so it can be warm during the summer and chilly in the winter. Material handling equipment such as forklifts and stand-up forklifts, along with RF scanners, are used regularly to manage inventory and fulfill orders. Hiring is open for all three shifts, including 1st shift (Monday-Friday 5:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and Tuesday-Saturday 5:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.), 2nd shift (Monday-Friday 1:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.), and 3rd shift (9:30 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.). Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of De Pere, WI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.50/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
