Job description
Primary Duties Include:
Load/unload trailers in organized manner, keep trailers clean/organized Masking off, cover up work areas to ensure dust protection Ensure all vacuum hoses and cords are moved while grinder is in operation, follow grinder to clean and vacuum when needed Make sure all vacuums/equipment are cleaned/emptied regularly to prevent damage Become skilled at hand grinding/edging, dying, stenciling, and floor artwork Perform patch and crack filling to meet standards of the company Operate large planetary grinder and work with heavy machinery Assist with epoxy applications Ensure job site and tooling are ready for the next day of production including daily cleanup and proper disposal of waste onsite Ability to determine the correct tooling for a job based on contract specification, lift heavy weight and problem solve when needed, take initiative to achieve results while maximizing efficiencies and complete tasks unsupervised Other duties as assigned by management
Requirements:
No prior concrete polishing or epoxy application experience required- we will train the right candidate. Ability to work with heavy machinery and lift 50lbs or more when needed Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools safely and effectively Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work Basic knowledge and understanding of MSDS documentation and OSHA safety standards preferred Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing tasks as needed. Mostly LOCAL work, but need ability for some flexible scheduling when necessary for out-of-town jobs, (generally not more than once per month IF AT ALL, generally out of town might be 2-3 hrs from our shop. Pay:
$20.00 - $25.00 per hour
