Overview Our client is seeking a dependable, safety-focused General Labor / Cleaner / Heavy Equipment Operator to support daily operations at a recycling and processing facility. This role includes manual labor, facility cleaning, material handling, and operating heavy equipment in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Schedule Saturday & Sunday:

7:00 AM - 3:00

PM Monday-Wednesday:

Approximately 8-hour daytime shifts, with exact hours to be determined.

Key Responsibilities:

Load, unload, sort, and move materials Clean equipment, work areas, and facility grounds Remove debris, spills, and waste to maintain a safe, organized workplace Follow all safety procedures and report hazards Operate forklifts, skid steers, loaders, or other equipment (if certified) Complete pre-shift equipment inspections and report maintenance concerns Load and transport materials while following all operating and safety guidelines Skills and Experience Qualifications Prior experience in general labor, warehouse, recycling, or industrial settings preferred Heavy equipment experience preferred (certification may be required depending on assignment) Ability to lift 50 lbs or more and perform physically demanding tasks Strong attention to safety and detail Reliable attendance and ability to work assigned shifts (including overtime if needed) Ability to work in outdoor and industrial environments Work Environment Industrial recycling/production facility Exposure to noise, dust, and varying weather conditions Standing, bending, lifting, and physical activity required throughout shift Summary This is a hands-on position combining general labor, cleaning responsibilities, and equipment operation to support efficient plant operations and maintain a safe, productive workplace.
