Job Description

Title:
Sr. Warehouseman - Tool Mechanic At KBR, We Deliver. KBR ISA (Integrated Solutions Americas) delivers integrated, end-to-end engineering, procurement, and construction management services to the refining, LNG, midstream, chemicals, petrochemicals, oil and gas, power, and industrial infrastructure sectors. Our focus spans proprietary technology, consulting, and energy transition to complete delivery of major capital projects and programs. KBR is seeking a skilled Tool Mechanic to support the inspection, maintenance, repair, and calibration of tools, equipment, and small machinery used in industrial and construction operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on mechanical experience, strong troubleshooting abilities, and a commitment to safety and quality. This role is responsible for ensuring tools and equipment remain reliable, operational, and ready to support project execution across a dynamic work environment. Functional job responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Inspect, diagnose, and repair tools and equipment including small machinery, power tools, hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Perform preventative maintenance on tools and assemblies to extend lifespan and ensure reliability Disassemble and reassemble tools for repair or calibration, replacing defective components as needed Operate and maintain shop equipment such as mills, grinders, calipers, torque wrenches, for accurate inspections and repairs Maintain inventory and order parts for efficient workflow and ensure tools are stocked and ready for use Document all maintenance and repairs accurately, including logs of inspections, tests, and replacements Follow safety protocols rigorously when handling equipment, heavy tools, and hazardous materials
Required Education, Experience, & Skills:
High school diploma or GED; vocational training, technical school certification, or an apprenticeship in tool repair. 2-5 years of hands-on experience repairing and maintaining tools, machinery, or heavy equipment Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems Strong problem-solving and critical thinking ability Attention to detail and accuracy Good communication and interpersonal skills for team collaboration
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift 50-70 lbs, stand for long periods, bend, squat, climb, and handle heavy tools safely.
