Job Description
Main Tasks
Responsibilities Uses a forklift and other powered or non-powered equipment to pull and ready product for shipment to customers or other company locations.
Documents materials and records units delivered and location of units.
Locates materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders.
Pulls and stages finished goods, and follows picking instructions for proper shipment preparation.
Assures accuracy of product types and quantities for the customer's purchase order.
Keeps inventory, warehouse/working areas, and machinery clean.
Communicates product shortages and product damages to the Supervisor or Assistant.
Learns and adheres to workplace safety regulations. Requirements Have an understanding of warehouse management systems. Proven ability to work independently, and accurately.
Effective listening, verbal and written communication skills
Ability to read and analyze Information
Knowledge of inventory control
Mathematical skills to calculate material needs
Must speak, read, and write English to satisfy job requirements.
Forklift certification required
