Fort Smith, AR Job Details Full-time 4 hours ago Qualifications Computer operation Desktop applications Computer skills Cross-functional collaboration Cross-functional communication Full Job Description Job Summary We are seeking a dependable Manufacturing Material Handler to support production operations. This role includes moving and staging materials, operating forklifts and RF equipment, verifying shipments, maintaining inventory accuracy, and working closely with Quality Control, Inventory, and Shipping. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, clear communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Duties and Responsibilities Move product from staging and storage areas to assigned locations. Load, unload, stack, and stage product using forklifts or other power equipment. Use RF equipment for picking, receiving, putaway, and loading functions. Maintain equipment and materials in a clean and orderly fashion. Verify accuracy of inbound and outbound shipments; report damages or variances. Operate equipment safely and efficiently following established procedures. Prepare documents such as work orders to route materials through production. Coordinate with Quality Control to ensure finished goods are inspected before shipping. Communicate with the warehouse to schedule pickups and issue shipping instructions. Verify shipment accuracy against manifests, invoices, and packing slips. Record damages and discrepancies for tracking purposes. Ensure timely and accurate putaway of products in E21. Pull and stage inventory for daily and weekly production. Conduct weekly cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy. Work with the Inventory Coordinator to resolve issues such as shortages or damages. Provide updates and communicate issues to the Production Supervisor . Qualifications and Requirements Minimum 1 year of relevant experience and training. Basic knowledge of firearms or strong mechanical aptitude. Clear and effective communication skills. Basic computer skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Task-oriented and efficient time management. Ability to work effectively with other departments. Must be able to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
